The Hunger Coalition is a nonprofit organization.
This coalition was created to bring together and support feeding programs across Otsego County through shared information, resources, and collaboration. We are a diverse network made up of individuals and organizations, including food pantries, feeding programs, farmer’s markets, religious groups, educational institutions, and other nonprofit agencies. By working together, we aim to strengthen food access in our communities. To become a Voting Member of our network, participants must attend at least two meetings each year.

Where it all began….
In 2010, a collaborative group of individuals got together to discuss ways to organize food donation pick-ups from the local grocery stores. This eventually became known as The Hunger Task Force. The Founding Members were Ken Hunter, Janice Hinkley, Major Jim (Salvation Army), Joyce Mason, and Cynthia Walton-Leavitt.
