Cooperstown Farmers’ Market Vouchers Available

New vouchers available while SNAP is not being funded.

Otsego 2000 wants everyone to have access to local food at the Cooperstown Farmers’ Market. Thanks to generous donors, customers with an EBT card can still get local food from the Market.

Show an EBT card at the Market (the same place where EBT is normally processed) and then receive $40 in Otsego 2000 vouchers. The Cooperstown Lions SNAP Match will continue at $20.

So, people with an EBT card can get $60 in vouchers to spend on SNAP-eligible food at the Farmers’ Market each Saturday. We will continue this new voucher program until federal funding of SNAP is restored.

In the first 10 months of 2025, more than $36,000 of local food has been provided through food access initiatives at the Market, which include EBT, the Cooperstown Lions Club SNAP Match, Field & Fork Network’s Double Up Food Bucks, and Cooperstown Food Pantry vouchers.

These efforts give food-insecure neighbors more local food, provide local farmers with more business, and add to the local economy.

The Cooperstown Farmers’ Market is open year-round on Saturdays, 9 am to 2 pm.
